The document ‘Managing security in chemical businesses’ is one of a series of short awareness-raising alerts from the Chemical Industries Association on safety and security issues. Its content is equally applicable to other major hazard sector businesses. Its aim is to highlight current security aspects and to signpost available guidance from a variety of sources that businesses should use to manage security – it includes UK threat level, site security, personnel security, and ‘cyber’ security of electronic information that may be security sensitive or commercially confidential.
